This item comes in its original (opened) box but the perfumed body powder itself is SEALED.  I did enjoy the fragrance when I took off the lid to check for a seal.

The white sea shell compact lid lifts upward and off the compact to reveal the sealed powder.  Insode the lid hides the original sponge or applicator underneath the lid.
