    Description

I AM NOT SELLING A KIT
    ,
only a new, full-size copy of the
    PLAN
    & RCM
    construction
    article
    for the
    AERO COMMANDER SHRIKE
RC model. The model had 2 Cox .049 Medallion engines and used 1 straight & 2 tapered ACE molded foam cores.
    The
    AERO COMMANDER
design is one of the most rugged from which to make an RC semi-scale model. The fuselage can be a simple sheet-sided box, as in this
    SHRIKE COMMANDER
model that was a twin engine kit many years ago from ACE.
The color scheme shown was the official
    Bob Hoover
scheme that Rockwell was proud to apply. The first Air Force One that President Eisenhower purchased was an
    AERO COMMANDER
and the color scheme was blue and white.
    As a
    BONUS
I include a color copy of my vintage Shrike plumage card showing five color combinations available to those who ordered an actual airplane. To top this off I include a copy of an 11 page booklet covering the plane. This excellent write-up, from a 1952 piloting magazine, will further increase your admiration of this wonderful airplane.
I AM NOT SELLING FOAM WINGS
. MY LAST PICTURE SHOWS WHAT THE ACE FOAM WINGS LOOK LIKE WHEN THEY APPEAR FOR SALE ON EBAY. I DO NOT OFFER ANY ACE FOAM WING CORES WITH MY PLAN.
YOU ARE PURCHASING A NICE, CLEAN, WHITE, FULL-SIZE COPY OF THIS
    PLAN
