Description
Finally, no more fabricating your own engine mounts for coroplast control line airplanes! This is a 3D printed engine mount that somewhat follows the specifications given for the Man-Win Trainer, however it will work for multiple coroplast control line designs. This design uses a mount for the engine (Cox .048 Babe Bee style) that is connected to the fixed mount on the plane using rubber bands. The goal is to reduce the damage caused by an unplanned meeting with the ground. Each engine mount has a built in offset which "pulls" the plane against the control lines. The offset is achieved by butting the mount up to the leading edge of the coroplast. The original design of the Man-Win Trainer calls for 18 degrees, however the choice of multiple different offsets allows for personal preference in the amount of offset. See the listing title for the offset you will receive and see my other items for sale for a choice of 0, 5, 10, and 18 degree offset options.
