Guitar case Latch hasp ONLY Nickel Presto style replacement SOME Fender W Rivets

This latch/ hasp ONLY   NO LOCK is offered as a suitable replacement for Fender cases which used "Presto"  cast (thin) style latches
These is for ONE (1)  BRAND NEW replacement latch for Fender (and other) Guitar cases, complete with two nickel rivets.
PRICE IS FOR  ONE LATCH, AND 2 NICKEL PLATED SPLIT RIVETS
Height of latch is 2".   Hole spacing is 1 1/8"
.   you may need to drill new holes.  Most of the old Presto latches are 7/8" hole spacing.  The part of this latch which attaches to the lid of the case is rather large and should cover most or all of the footprint from the old latch.
If you have a Fender case from the 50's, 60's or 70's with a latch which is cast metal,
not marked Cheney, this should work for you.
This latch is solid brass and made in USA.   Very old stock.  The spring in this latch is very strong. These are actually an improvement over the Presto hasps!
The Prestos get old and the springs wear out and break.
I actually have 2  Fender cases from the late 70's which have this exact hasp (SEE PIC #2).  I've only seen a handful of cases with this hasp. The lock on that case is a Presto lock, which is typical, combined with this unbranded hasp (can't read lettering).  I've learned you can expect anything with Fender and their case vendors.....nothing is standard.

The Cheney latches do not mate with Presto Locks
