InCase Bass Gig Bag - The Holy Grail of Gig Bags, a Pretty Hard Soft Case. This bag has been out of production for years, likely close to twenty. It is a gig bag, yes, but it is also something of a hard case. It has a crazy amount of storage areas with zippers, buckles and the likes. The main storage area is literally the size of a backpack. I've used this thing to transport a bass to a gig on a motorcycles without issue. The previous owner claimed he knocked out a mugger on Hollywood Boulevard and then played a gig afterwards without damage to the bass. It is a solid thing, a beast and something of a unit, but not super heavy. The neck support pillow is adjustable for positioning with attached velcro. The overall length, exterior, is 48", allowing it to fit the average FSO (Fender-shaped object). Measure your bass before you make a purchase to be certain it will fit. If you send me measurements, I will verify fitment and send photos with a tape measure in place to allow an informed decision on your part. From the photos, you can see that it has a bit of dust on it, but there are no mysterious splats or spills. There are no unusual aromas. No animal has every lived in or urinated on this case. It could be cleaned up a bit, but that is beyond my personal scope of interest right now.
