Sealed 34" Wingspan COMET P-38 Lightning Model Airplane Kit for Free Flight

Here is a new never opened kit for Comets 34" wingspan Lockheed P-38 fighter. I've built and flown this rubber powered model many years ago with my old friends from the Metropolitan Sports Squadron which was led by that loveable old pirate Don Ross. This is an easy to build model and mine flew right off the board with both props rotating normally and using the Kaysun props provided in the kit.
The kits cellophane wrapper is torn and the box is concave from the cello tightening up on the box but I guarantee that the contents will be perfectly new and fine for use. Many times the original rubber itself is still good in these old kits, just wash, lube and stretch it before use. This was one of Comets most popular series and included the A-26 invader which I've also built and flown and the large 54" wingspan Aeronca Chief and Taylorcraft along with a few other great models. This lightning is an excellent flying model and is both realistic and majestic in flight.
