This Offering is for an Antique Sterling Silver Cosmetic Jar / Hair Receiver Crystal Jar
Lid has beautifully scripted monogram, and of course the hole in the center to receive your brushed hair. In the Victorian and even Edwardian era this hair was later braided into a very fine ring or bracelet to be given to a loved one as a Memento.
The crystal jar has a small chip on edge of lid but is otherwise stable and has a beautiful channeled design.
Sterling has not been cleaned or polished.
Jar measures approx. 4” W x 2.5”’T
Lid measures approx.3.25” Diameter x 1/2” T
