Vintage 1959'-WEN MAC "P-51 MUSTANG " Gas Model Airplane 30"
12 photo's,are a  important part of auctions description. -Wen Mac's 1959 - 1960  giant scale  (30" wing span) Vacuum formed plastic P-51 Mustang, model  #160. Powered by a .049 Mark III engine. Being offered as a "parts plane" due to damaged engine mounts, damaged  lower cowling and  some missing parts. Engine has broken out of its mount, only two screws remain.( can be glued )  Engine is very clean with good cylinder fins, 3 blade prop with some stress cracks on spinner. Engine (gummed up tight). Fuselage and wings are in good condition, no obvious dents, cracks, missing one side of the elevator. Good aluminum landing gear support , but tires are out of round.  Overall in good condition considering it's age , and the frail nature of anything  being vacuum formed, and  being held together by rubber bands . Not cleaned up ... Plane will be disassembled to keep shipping cost down, but box will still be large. Consider costs before biding.
