    VW AirCooled Warm Air Regulating Cable
    This is a reproduction of the Original
    This one fits 68 only Models, and has a straight wire end
    69-70 has a looped end (prt# VRD229)
    Cable is 35" overall (original cable is 34")
    This Warm air regulating cable connects the thermostat vanes
    To the air cleaner, to control the warm or fresh air inlet valve.
    Basically.. When your engine is cold, this will regulate the air cleaner
    To draw air from the tube rather than the air cleaner snout.
    This helps the car stay running when it's cold.
    Other parts needed for installation are...
    Cable sheathing
    Cable sheathing bracket
    Cable end nuts (2 required for 68 models)
    Also need the correct thermostat cooling vanes with the arm..
